Day 3 - Gifts for the home (not just candles!)

Showroom, Brisbane City
"Curated like a magazine", Showroom in Brisbane is the physical space for lots of local designers and artists whose creations would otherwise be available only online. Sourced largely from Brisbane with some other Australian and international brands in the mix, Showroom is a lovely space with great staff and a lot to offer. Homewares from crystal coasters to geometric light fixtures, organic tea from right here in Brisbane...they have gorgeous soy candles, too, if your mum/sister/great aunt/best friend really needs or wants another one.

One of the first places I was taken to visit in Brisbane, Nook has a slew of great Aussie and Brissy brands in stock. (I personally love the Each to Own bling). Enamel dishware, one-off rings, wooden planters and pun-tastic greeting cards are a few of the treasures you'll find.

Saber, Stones Corner
The first store opened in Paddington 15 years ago, and since then TID has expanded to include Bulimba and New Farm locations. Colourful and unusual accessories for homes and humans, from bags to bracelets to lamps and dinnerware. Gift certificates are available if you just can't choose.

Specialising predominantly in event management and styling, Saber at Stones Corner also has a lovely collection of gift items in store, from delicate jewellery to Christmas decorations, cushions, bunting and handmade cards.

Originating from Perth, Pigeonhole has a shop in Wintergarden selling all kinds of interesting bits, from button down shirts to fridge magnets and mirrored glasses that let you read lying down. A great spot to pick up some stocking stuffers or novelty gifts.
