Holey Moley Brisbane has some new tee-rrific new holes to swing at! They like big putts, and they cannot lie.
Opening 12 months ago in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Holey Moley transformed a beautiful old church (previously dance club The Mansion) into a hybrid “leisure-tainment” centre, featuring creative putt-putt courses, a cocktail bar, excellent puns, and a bangin’ nineties playlist.
We played our way through The Simpson’s lounge room at 742 Evergreen Terrace, glowed in the dark with retro-game-themed holes Pacman and Teetris, watched our balls drop through a giant game of Mouse Trap, navigated around Mr Trump’s Mexican Wall, and traded in our Golden Tickets at the Wonka factory with the new “Oom-Par-Loom-Par Doompadee Tee”. Giant bars of chocolate and Augustus-Gloop-esque pipe included.
The super friendly staff also happen to be cocktail makin’ champs – I sampled the “Sugar Caddy” below, a dangerously drinkable sugar rush in a red plastic party cup (which did make it a little sticky and sloshy). The candy skewer was obviously what sold my sweet tooth on this one!

The whole experience was superb, and this seems like a great all-rounder venue. Corporate function? Mini golf. Family reunion? Mini golf. Start of a big night out? Obviously mini golf.
Prices are $16.50pp for 9 holes, or $33pp for 18 holes. Cocktails $17 (or $50 for a “sharing trophy” – cocktails for four served in an ACTUAL TROPHY) and wood-fired pizza $15. Can be a bit of an exxy night out depending on your budget, but it’s a hole lot of fun!
